This site has been established to allow students in Mr. Platt's APES and IBES classes to access documents needed for their classes. As a way of saving paper some materials will only be posted here and not printed. Please use your discretion when deciding whether you need to print them or can just access them here.

Our goal for the year for all students in both courses is to pass the AP and IB exam respectively. Beyond this the broader aim and expectation is that students can develop a crystalized environmental world view and a sense of stewardship towards the planet around them. Everything in these classes is designed to achieve that end. Please remember that you influence that outcome every single day. Here are a few tips to remember.

1. Every one of you should be studying / doing homework for this class for 20-30 minutes each night.

2. Keep track of your assignments, complete them all, and turn them in on time.

3. Plan to attend all review sessions for the class. IBES will review every Wednesday 6:45-7:15 and APES will review every Wednesday at lunch.

4. Do syllabus statement cards for every test to be sure you know the content IB expects you to know. For AP complete your study questions before each test

This is going to be a great year for all of us so get ready to work hard, learn alot and have some fun along the way.
